	26 Sep 2006 Most Transparent Company Award Thai Beverage Wins Most Transparent Company Award In Singapore Singapore, 26 September 06 - Thai Beverage Public Company Limited (ThaiBev), listed on the Main Board of the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX),has been awarded a Merit Award in the category "Most Transparent Company – New Issue" by the Securities Investors Association of Singapore (SIAS). ThaiBev, which was listed in May 2006, was recognized for the timeliness of news releases issued, the substantiality and clarity of its news releases, the degree of media access, the frequency of corporate results and the availability of segmental information and communication channels, such as the company website and webcasting. On August 11, 2006, three months after listing on the SGX, ThaiBev organized its first live webcast presentation and audio conference call of its half-year financial results, for investors from around the world to directly participate in. Presiding over the live webcast presentation, and accompanied by ThaiBev's senior management team, was ThaiBev's Head of Investor Relations, Mr. Richard Jones. Present at the 7th Investors' Choice Awards 2006 to receive the award was Mr. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi, ThaiBev's Director & Executive Vice President. The event, which took place on September 22 at the Raffles City Convention Centre, was graced by special guest H.E. Mr. Chalermpol Thanchitt, Thailand's Ambassador to Singapore, who presented the Most Transparent Companies awards to the winners. Commenting on the award, Mr. Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi said, "ThaiBev is proud to have won the trust of investors in Singapore for our transparent practices less than six months since we our listing on the SGX.
