After consecutively successfully “6 Red World Championship” for 2 years, this year see 2010 even bigger event for “Sangsom 6 Red World Championship” cooperated between Thai Beverage Marketing Co., Ltd., and Billiard Sports Association of Thailand. World class snookers and Thai Talents competed for 6 million baht prizes during 19-24 July at Montian Riverside Hotel.

Mr. Viroj Chantaramolee  Deputy Managing Director  from ThaiBeverage Marketing Co.,Ltd.  on behalf of Sangsom spirit said that, “ as a main sponsor, Thai Beverage Marketing has been proud for the success of this championship. This year championship becomes truly world class event as players from around the world come to compete for “The Richest 6-Red Snooker Event of the World” which held on during 19-24 July at Montien Riverside. Prizes winners divided into 2-million baht for Champion, 800,000 baht for runner-up, simi-final 400,000 each, 8 playoff each receives 200,000, 16 qualified players earns 100,000 a person. Nevertheless, the 32 finalists who arrive in Thailand already entitle for 50,000 baht rewards.

Not only the event displays its rich prizes winning, the world class skills and talents are also the main focus for the championship.  We have Peter Ebdon,  Mark J. Williams,  Ken Doherty,  Stephen Maguire  2nd World Ranking, Jimmy White last year Champion and others champions from all tournaments from Europe, Asia, Africa , Thailand, etc.  Especially from Thailand, Noppon Saengkham, Issara Kachaiwong, Thanawat Thirapongpaiboon, Passakorn Suwannawat, Noppadon Noppachorn, Supoj Saenla, Ratchapol Pu-Ob-Orm and  Thepchaiya  Un-nooh, these are our favorites who would be part of 48 great players in this event.

Snooker fans can attend each round of competition without paying and home viewers can watch the live event on True Sport 3.  The Championship games (24 July) will be broadcast live on Channel 9 (Modern Nine TV) and True sport 3 at 14:00-17:00
